MISSION STATEMENT

The Somers Sportsmen's Association remains as it's Founders intended;

Promoting firearm safety, an appreciation for the outdoors and the wise use of all it has to offer.

As members of Somers Sportsmen's Association it is our mission to:

  • Promote and provide training for the public safety in: the ownership and use of firearms within our community.
  • Provide for a safe and pleasant place for members and guests to shoot and become more proficient in their safe handling and efficient use of firearms.
  • Promote and assist in the education of the public in hunter safety, hunter ethics and proper aquatic and wildlife management.
  • Foster and promote all shooting sports and the preservation of the freedom of law-abiding citizens to possess and use firearms for all legitimate purposes
